Erica J. Erney (she/they), a licensed clinical social worker, works as a geriatric case manager at the Senior Health & Memory Clinic for Kaiser Permanente and has been in this role since 2004. She is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Member at Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California & Northern Nevada Chapter. Erica volunteered in her role as facilitator for the co-sponsored (Openhouse & Alzheimer’s Association) LGBTQIA+ dementia caregiver support group that she assisted with developing. Erica received her LCSW in 2007. Prior, she received her Master's Degree in Social Welfare, with a specialization in Gerontology from University of California, Berkeley in 2003 and she was the recipient of the Rose Kleiner Memorial Fellowship in Gerontology, for the 2002-2003 Academic Year from Cal. Erica received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Certificate of Study in Women's Studies from Humboldt State University in 1998.
